After the removal of your EGR cooler on your 3.0l EcoDiesel Ram or Grand Cherokee, some kits offer an inferior option that can result in frequent leaks. Seal the leak for good with this coolant tube replacement plug.

You will need to re use the o-ring from the tube that this replaces.

Following this hose from the front of the EGR cooler to the side of the block behind the alternator. You will see a 8mm hex head bolt holding the original tube to the block.

Remove the bolt, remove the tube. Carefully remove the o-ring from the tube. Taking care not to damage it. Install the o-ring on your new No Eco plug. Install the plug in the block and install the bolt to hold it in place.

These lines are full of coolant. Be sure to have replacement coolant on hand or drain coolant from the plug in the bottom of the radiator in to a clean pan so you can reuse it when the installation is complete.
