Description

This replaces the original plastic coolant junction that is originally blocked off with a bolted on plate when you buy a lesser EGR delete kit.

If your EGR cooler has already been deleted and you want to eliminate a place for coolant to leak. This par will work on the Ram 1500 3.0L EcoDiesel Only. Don’t worry Cherokee guys. I have something in the works for you.

Locate the original Coolant tube junction block. It was located here on the side of the EGR cooler. If your EcoDiesel has already had the EGR deleted, there will be a plate bolted to this piece. Remove the lower hose clamp and disconnect the quick disconnect above the bolts.

Now remove the clearish plastic clip from the original black plastic fitting and install it on the new 6061 Billet Aluminum No Eco Coolant Junction Delete Tube. Being careful not to break it in the process.

Reinstall the aluminum tube back in place between the coolant hoses as shown here.

For off road use only. You will reuse the plastic clip from the existing connector that this replaces. These lines are full of coolant. Be sure to have replacement coolant on hand or drain coolant from the plug in the bottom of the radiator in to a clean pan so you can reuse it when the installation is complete.
